Second Nature incorporates live text growing through artificial turf panels accompanied by the classic icon of domestic shelter a house. The house formed of chain link affords a view in and through, though cannot be physically entered, suggesting our attempt to mediate between the inside and the outside. The text Second Nature is Home references the concept of "second nature" as a landscape of man-made elements introduced into the world to make nature more habitable.
