Lake Erie Benches

Lake Erie Benches are permanently installed in Oletha Wilson park, Cleveland Ohio. The design of the benches was inspired by the topography of Lake Erie. Their brilliant color, a focal point in the landscape draws in the pedestrian creating a destination point with in the larger park. The benches are designed as social structures, intentionally considering how we engage with others in a public social space. Their interior openings provide as means to face one and other.
