From this Window was a two-week research fellowship at the Hillwood Estate Museum and Gardens in Washington, DC during the summer of 2017. The journal entries document my creative quest. As part of my daily practice I transcribed the events of the day, my explorations in the garden and the collection. To summarize the day, I assigned it a distinct color reflective of my sensory spatial wanderings and distilled those experiences distilled into a form.
