Drawings

Drawing is an integral part of my practice allowing for the ability to work out complex ideas around color and form. Drawing is a means of thinking out loud- a way to begin where something doesn’t exist. I am “finding form”. Through the fluidity of the watercolor pencil and charcoal, the tool I most often use, I am able to make a mark that is best explained as a gesture allowing for further discovery and refinement in the process of realizing form in three dimensions.
